Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

Hi everyone – I hope your holiday was filled with everything nice ! ! !

Wondering if anyone would be willing to help in concessions this week?  We started with 5 volunteers for concessions and now we are down to 2 consistent volunteers.  We are hoping to have the warming shack open for skating from 11:00 to 7:00 this week since the kids are off of school but 2 people just can’t run it for the entire week ………… is there anyone out there that can help us?  Also, we would love to have a supervisor at the shack from 7:00 – 9:00 as well.

Volunteers Needed

Wednesday, December 14th, 2011

Greetings Friends and Neighbors of Lower Chester.  We hope you all had as good a time as we did last Saturday.  What a beautiful day and great turnout!   Then came the big melt.  We have not been able to open for skating because of the weather, but things are looking better for the weekend.  Our site manager,  Larry Schneider,  has informed me that the temps may allow for flooding on Thursday and Friday evenings.  That means we could be open for skating on the weekend.  He has also been doing repairs at the rink and needs volunteers to help with repairs.  Please contact Larry if you are able to join him for flooding or repairs on Thursday evenings:        218-393-6472 or email.
